Carpal Tunnel

Carpal tunnel is the irritation of the median nerve which travels through the forearm to the hand.  Patients often complain of tingling or weakness in the hand.  The nerve is formed from spinal nerves which start in the neck and eventually unite to form the median nerve.  Many health care specialists only focus on the wrist which ignores the many areas along the nerves pathway in which it can become irritated.  Reducing tension and compression of the nerve allows for it to function properly and eliminates the symptoms associated with carpal tunnel.
