Plantar Fasciitis
About
Plantar fasciitis is inflammation of the thick connective tissue of the bottom of the foot. This tissue is called the plantar fascia and it connects the heel to the toes to help support the arch of the foot. This tissue can become overworked and eventually painful. The biomechanics of the foot can predispose plantar fasciitis and must be addressed to help alleviate the resulting pain. Joint manipulation and soft tissue therapy have been shown to drastically improve patient’s symptoms.
