Dr. Chelsea Shultis
Chiropractic Physician
Dr. Chelsea is from a small town in upstate New York. Growing up she enjoyed playing soccer and cheerleading. She obtained her Bachelors degree in Biological Sciences at the University of Rhode Island. She began chiropractic school in Sept. of 2019 at Northeast College of Health Sciences (formerly NYCC) where she took on several leadership roles in various clubs and organizations. During her time at school she attended athletic events including the Boilermaker 5k/10k and Rochester Half Marathon, where she provided post-race treatment to athletes. She completed her final year of chiropractic school at the Rochester, VA where she provided chiropractic care to veterans.
Dr. Chelsea provides evidence-informed care to her patients with a passion for treating sports based injuries, women’s health, and pre- and post-natal care. She utilizes a variety of adjusting techniques including diversified, flexion-distraction, activator, and drop-table. She provides therapies including instrument-assisted soft tissue manipulation, cupping,, electrical muscle stimulation and often combines adjustments with therapeutic stretches and exercises for long lasting results.
Dr. Chelsea has always loved New England and is very happy to call Maine home. When she’s not in the office, Dr. Chelsea enjoys exploring local businesses, playing soccer or taking walks on the beach with her chocolate lab, Leo.
Dr. Chelsea’s goal is to empower her patients to take back control of their life and get back to the activities they love to do. She will work alongside you every step of the way to strive for optimal health and wellness with a treatment plan designed specifically to you and your body’s needs.
